The Neurocare PRO Dual-Sided Hand Mitt is a new addition to our peripheral neuropathy and joint care family. Experience Pulsed Light Medical Technology (PLMT®) — a device designed for comprehensive joint and peripheral neuropathy care and a range of wellness applications. This versatile kit targets conditions affecting the hands directly, featuring a choice of one or two of our dual-sided mitts, and our 2-port controller.
The pad zips open and can be applied flat, or the hand can fit inside the mitt to be treated on both sides. This system features advanced SMD microchip web-designed technology, offering a number of advantages over older “through-hole” technology. This includes reduced-size triple-chip diodes, more powerful photonic output energy, improved beam angle, and a wider aperture output with 120-degree projection — meaning they produce less heat and are designed to help deliver more balanced light dispersion into the bio-site tissue.
The targeted, pulsed polychromatic light waves used in PLMT® offer a different approach than traditional Red Light Therapy (RLT) and Near-Infrared (NIR) methods, designed to help support cellular absorption and penetration for pain relief, reduced inflammation, improved circulation, and wound-healing support.
Research on photobiomodulation points to mechanisms involving nitric oxide release, microcirculation, and ATP production, which may play a role in supporting outcomes such as reduced pain, inflammation, and improved skin appearance.
